From what I can see, the iPad app will merely search for file names, not for words in the file. The likely reason for this is that your files are non actually stored on your iPad. They are stored in the cloud and are merely downloaded to the device when you tap on ane to open it. As such, the search is limited to what the app knows is on the device, and all that really consists of is a bunch of file names, so no I don't think it is possible right at present :(
